ProHanceCX Workforce Management Strategy Gains New Leadership with Ankur Agarwal

ProHance has appointed Ankur Agarwal as Vice President & General Manager, ProHanceCX Sales, strengthening its push into the global workforce management market.

ProHance is stepping up its focus on workforce management (WFM) with the appointment of Ankur Agarwal to lead sales for ProHanceCX.

The appointment comes as enterprises continue to look for better ways to balance workforce productivity, customer experience, operational efficiency and cost pressures.

For ProHance, the move also signals a broader ambition. The company wants ProHanceCX to become a stronger player in the enterprise WFM market.

A leadership move with strong WFM credentials

Agarwal brings more than 19 years of enterprise sales experience across customer experience, workforce engagement and workforce management solutions.

He joins ProHance from Verint Systems, where he spent close to 18 years. Most recently, he served as Sales Director with responsibility for major enterprise accounts across India.

According to ProHance, Agarwal managed some of Verint’s largest and most strategic accounts across the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) and business process outsourcing (BPO) sectors.

The company also says he drove more than $50 million in net-new revenue for Verint during the past decade. This included what ProHance describes as the largest deal in Verint India’s history.

That background gives the new ProHance leadership team significant experience in enterprise CX and WFM sales.

ProHanceCX workforce management strategy enters a new phase

ProHanceCX is the company’s dedicated product line for the WFM market.

Agarwal’s mandate will include expanding the product’s footprint and building its presence among enterprise CX and workforce engagement accounts globally.

The appointment therefore goes beyond adding another senior sales executive. It places an experienced WFM and CX sales leader at the centre of ProHance’s growth strategy for this market.

For enterprises, WFM is increasingly connected to broader operational priorities. Forecasting, scheduling and workforce optimisation can influence employee utilisation, service levels, customer experience and operating costs.

This is particularly relevant for large contact centres and business operations, where small improvements in workforce deployment can have a material impact on performance.

From workforce management to an AI-led operating model

The WFM market is also changing as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in enterprise operations.

Traditional WFM capabilities have focused heavily on forecasting demand, scheduling employees and managing real-time workforce requirements.

The next phase is likely to place greater emphasis on intelligence, automation and actionable operational insights.

ProHance describes itself as an AI-led “Productivity Control Room for Enterprises.” Its platform combines AI, analytics and automation to provide visibility into productivity, operations and workforce performance.

The company says more than 450,000 users across 55-plus countries rely on its platform.

Its broader positioning could give ProHanceCX an opportunity to connect WFM with a wider productivity and operational-performance proposition.

Why the appointment matters to CX leaders

For CX leaders, the significance of this appointment lies in the convergence of three priorities: workforce optimisation, employee productivity and customer experience.

Contact centre leaders are under continuing pressure to deliver better customer outcomes without allowing operating costs to rise unchecked.

That makes workforce management a strategic capability rather than simply an operational scheduling function.

Agarwal’s experience across enterprise CX and WFM gives ProHance an executive with direct exposure to these challenges.

His appointment could therefore help the company sharpen its enterprise positioning and compete more aggressively for large WFM opportunities.

A competitive WFM market

ProHance is entering a market that already includes established workforce management technology providers with significant enterprise footprints.

The challenge will be to demonstrate why ProHanceCX should be considered alongside these established platforms.

Product capability will be one part of that equation. Enterprise scalability, integration, analytics, AI capabilities, implementation expertise and measurable return on investment will also matter.

Agarwal’s stated focus on an ROI-led approach suggests that ProHance intends to compete strongly on business outcomes.

In his comments, Agarwal said businesses are under pressure to achieve more with leaner teams. He described ProHanceCX as an opportunity to address those requirements while building durable enterprise relationships.

That positioning reflects a wider shift in enterprise CX technology. Buyers increasingly expect technology investments to demonstrate measurable operational and financial value.

What comes next for ProHanceCX

The immediate question will be how ProHance translates the appointment into market expansion.

Agarwal’s priorities include working with the sales organisation to increase ProHanceCX’s footprint and establish the product as a stronger WFM offering.

ProHance has also highlighted external recognition for its broader platform. The company was named a Star Performer in the Everest Group People Analytics Platforms PEAK Matrix 2026 and a Representative Vendor in the Gartner Market Guide for Task Mining Tools and Technology 2025.

Those credentials provide additional context for the company’s expansion strategy, although WFM remains a distinct and competitive technology category.

For CX decision-makers, the more interesting development will be whether ProHanceCX can convert its AI, analytics and productivity positioning into measurable WFM outcomes at enterprise scale.

CXQuest perspective

The appointment is significant because it combines experienced WFM leadership with an explicit push to expand ProHanceCX in the enterprise market.

Agarwal’s long tenure in the CX technology ecosystem gives ProHance a leader with substantial enterprise exposure.

The opportunity now is to translate that experience into a differentiated WFM proposition.

As AI increasingly influences workforce planning, optimisation and operational decision-making, the boundaries between WFM, workforce analytics and broader CX technology are becoming less distinct.

ProHance’s next phase of growth will show whether ProHanceCX can establish itself as a credible alternative for enterprises looking to modernise workforce management while improving productivity and customer experience.
