AM: My journey from Ludhiana’s ateliers to couture runways has been like moving from hand stitched dreams to full blown symphonies of emotion. In Ludhiana, I learnt the poetry of craft in couture, I found the language of soul. Every piece I create now is less about fabric and more about feeling, like wearing a memory that’s been hand embroidered. Fashion, for me, isn’t just worn it’s felt. Like if you see my first collection, it’s not any complicated thought. It was just a festive edit for all sorts of culturally blended families.

AM: Dimple Sachar is my Mother, who became my Mentor, my creative orbit during the pandemic like a calm in couture form. Mom became my whole institution at the time. She taught me that luxury doesn’t scream, it hums. Her mentorship shaped not just my sketches but my sensibility. She reminded me that every stitch carries intention, and every client carries a story. From her, I learnt the power of silent confidence the kind that walks in, and the room just adjusts its light.

Q4. Your brand debut was a splendid event merging culture, celebrity, and design. How important is experiential storytelling in luxury fashion launches today?
AM: The brand debut felt less like a launch and more like theatre ,where culture, celebrity, and couture danced together. Specially for me as my debut happened with people who have aided my dream ever since I wanted to be a designer. Karan Kundrra is my sisters best friend, he was the first to come forward and want to launch by brand wearing it. Divya Aggarwal, put my debut shoot together, alligned celebrity photographer Amit Khanna for my designs, Charu Mehra, Akshay Bindra, Sanaya Pithawala, veteran writer Niranjan Iyengar and various such esteemed personalities of the industry came together to give me the dream debut any aspirant in the world of glamor, would wish for.

AM: I grew up on Bollywood emotions and Hollywood structure, so my couture naturally became a bilingual love story. I take the drama of Indian heritage and give it the lighting of global glamour. The key is authenticity not faking fusion but feeling it. I don’t blend to impress, I blend to express. Because nothing is more modern than tradition told differently.
