This prestigious recognition, organized by the Hong Kong Environmental Campaign Committee and the Environment and Ecology Bureau, highlights the company’s commitment to sustainable practices as part of its “L’Oréal For the Future” initiative.
L’Oréal has been driving sustainable transformation throughout its value chain, from product innovation and sourcing to transportation, retail, and consumption. Remarkable Green Initiatives by L’Oréal

Green Office: L’Oréal Hong Kong’s office is LEED Platinum certified, utilizes 100% renewable energy, and consistently reduces energy consumption year after year through various energy efficiency measures.
Green Operations: The company has eliminated plastic packaging for local product packaging, ensuring all disposals from warehouses are recycled. Additionally, L’Oréal minimizes CO2 emissions in transportation by using sea and rail shipment, as well as electric vehicles for local transport.
Green Retail: L’Oréal’s new stores in Hong Kong are 100% eco-designed, using sustainably sourced and certified materials, along with reusable and recyclable components.
Green Consumption: In collaboration with Watsons stores, L’Oréal has collected over 600,000 empty beauty bottles from consumers for recycling. The company is also introducing more refillable beauty products to reduce packaging waste, offering sustainable options for environmentally conscious consumers.
